Flochi is a women's health app. We take your health data seriously. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how to delete it — all of it — at any time.
1. Who We Are
Flochi is operated by Flochi Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). Our app helps you understand your menstrual cycle through a companion named Koda. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What We Collect
Account Information
- When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple-generated user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. We store this via Supabase to authenticate your account.
- We do not receive your Apple ID password.
Health & Cycle Data
- Menstrual cycle start dates, cycle length, and period length
- Daily mood, energy, and symptom logs
- Birth control type (if provided during onboarding)
- Health conditions you disclose (e.g. PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD, perimenopause)
- Phase-based check-ins and food logs
This data is classified as sensitive health information and is treated accordingly.
Conversation Data
- Messages you send to Koda and Koda's responses are stored in our database (Cloudflare D1) and linked to your user ID
- Personal facts Koda learns about you (e.g. preferences, patterns you share) are stored to enable Koda's memory across sessions
- Conversation history is used solely to make Koda's responses more relevant and personal to you
Usage Data
- Daily chat counts (to enforce free tier limits)
- App open dates (to schedule relevant notifications)
- Outfit/closet selections
- Hearts balance and earning history
Purchase Data
- Subscription status (free, trial, or paid) is managed by RevenueCat. We do not store or see your payment card information.
- RevenueCat links your subscription to your Apple or Supabase user ID.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide Koda's personalized responses and health insights
- To remember your cycle history and patterns across sessions
- To generate phase-appropriate meal plans and grocery lists (Koda's Kitchen)
- To send relevant notifications (daily check-ins, phase transitions, period predictions)
- To enforce subscription limits and restore purchases
- To improve the app (aggregated, anonymized analytics only — we do not sell individual data)
4. AI & Third-Party Services
Koda's chat responses are powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. When you send a message to Koda, your message and recent conversation history are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data processing. We do not share your health conditions or personal facts with Anthropic beyond what is included in the conversation context.
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — authentication and user account storage
- Cloudflare D1 — conversation history and Koda memory storage
- Anthropic — AI chat processing (Claude)
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your health data with advertisers. We share data only with the service providers listed above, who are contractually required to protect it.
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will permanently delete all your data within 30 days.
Conversation history older than 12 months is automatically purged from our servers.
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, export, or permanently delete all data we hold about you — at any time, for any reason.
To delete your data:
- In-app: Go to Settings → Delete My Data. This immediately and permanently deletes your conversation history, Koda memories, cycle logs, and account from all our servers.
- By email: Send a request to [email protected] and we will complete deletion within 30 days.
- Apple Sign In: You can revoke Flochi's access to your Apple ID at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID → Flochi → Stop Using Apple ID.
8. Children's Privacy
Flochi is not intended for users under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected].
9. Health Data Disclaimer
Flochi and Koda are not medical devices and do not provide medical advice. Information provided by Koda is for general wellness and educational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of Flochi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
